2026 Social Media Ambassadors

Social Media Ambassadors share about their journeys and our races online.

We are always seeking more Social Media Ambassadors! We would ask you to post to your Instagram or Facebook account at least every 1-2 weeks until race day about your training, about running, about your race, or otherwise somehow sharing the joy of the Classic City Marathon, Half Marathon, or Marathon Relay. Your posts would be in your voice, in your style, while also mentioning or tagging the Classic City Marathon or one of our 2026 Sponsors. We would also expect your posts to be friendly and kind, always supporting the mission of the Athens Road Runners: to foster an inclusive and supportive community where runners and walkers of all abilities are empowered to achieve their fitness, friendship, and training goals.

2026 Runners Ambassadors

Runners Ambassadors connect us to potential race participants. Anyone can be a 2026 Runners Ambassador, at any time!

• If you do not live in the Athens area, we can mail you some flyers and other goodies to share with your run club, community group, school, work group, running store, or book club. Email us, and we will send you what you need.

• If you do live in the Athens area, you can take our flyers and other goodies to any weekly run, to any other races you might be traveling to, or to any group you’d like, during the second half of 2025. Email us, and we will get you what you need.

• Other ideas? Email us! We would love to hear about your one-time ideas, your grand plans, and anything in between.
