First expo? Everyone has their first! In the days leading up to a race, it is common for race organizers to host an expo. These expos can range in size and programming. They typically feature running brands and sponsors of the race that are selling running gear and equipment. Expos are like a mall for runners! Here are some things to keep in mind:

• Do enjoy yourself! Socialize and meet the community supporting the race!

• Don’t buy anything new with the intent to try it on race day! Use what you’ve trained with!

• Sit when you can. Expos are a great time, but they can keep you on your feet for a long time. Remember to rest those legs!

• Check and double-check that you have safety pins for your bib!
